PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The Albany Creek Crematorium required lighting to their extremely dark car park. Taking into consideration the client’s requests and available light locations, BlackFrog Solar’s solution was to provide a street light at each end of the car park. For ease of future light maintenance, high grade tilt poles were installed. Due to the tree coverage, we also recommended the Nighthawk30 street lights with directional solar panel.

Problem
The crematorium also required the two signs at the main entrance to be illuminated so that the entrance could be easily located after dark. BlackFrog Solar’s solution was to install six London4 sign lights (three per sign) including vandal resistant cages and installation. Supply and install of garden entry lighting, pathway lighting and “fairy tree” lighting.
Process

Albany Creek Memorial Park has received comments from bereaved parents that, in life, their (departed) child was afraid of the dark. Blackfrog Solar are honoured for the opportunity to supply and install this special lighting for the children. Although parents cannot visit their loved ones at night, they can take some comfort in the knowledge that their child will always have a ‘night light’.
Solution
BlackFrog Solar supplied and installed two street lights for the car park, the lightning for the two entry signs (approximately 6.0m x 1.2m in size) for the Memorial Park main entrance to be illuminated and easily located after dark. Also supplied and installed the entry lighting in the garden, pathway lighting and “fairy tree” lighting.
